Not only can bassets surf, but they’re quite adept at it, simply because of how they’re built. “Low and heavy is good,” said Barb Ayers, whose dogs love to hang 10. Doubt I’d be as good as Dude the Super Basset, who looks positively THRILLED to be out catching some waves, but we certainly share the same surf-friendly build.
